An in-person, three-part, experiential sampler and practice laboratory

Our shadows emerge most vividly in relationship. The parts of ourselves we reject, hide, defend, or project onto others are some of the most generative parts of us. What if we could engage them in successful, low-risk, and worthwhile ways? What if exploring these realms could actually be accessible and fun?

This is not a conflict-resolution class, a model of communication or repair, mediation, group therapy, or an attempt to become perfect at conflict. Nor is it a space for simply discussing and analyzing. It is a hands-on sampler of exercises that help us lean into our shadows in ways that cultivate discovery, connection, and delight.

Because the truth is that conflict is a doorway to greater honesty, compassion, creativity, intimacy, aliveness, and belonging.

Through games, ShadowPlay, process work, hot seats, ZEGG Forum, role play, relational experiments, fishbowls, nondual inquiry, family constellations, and other creative practices, we will explore all the dark muck we usually avoid. In the process, we introduce new patterns into the deeply ingrained strategies we have used to protect ourselves.

The process helps us all:

  • Normalize conflict and difference
  • Build attachment and belonging
  • Deepen intimacy and trust
  • Strengthen skills for conflict and repair
  • Increase self-awareness and emotional literacy
  • Explore the role of eros in conflict

What is a Sampler?

This series is a SAMPLER—a short, experiential sampling of several possible practices rather than a full deep dive. The intention is to give us all a felt sense that this is possible by building appetite, safety, and curiosity for a longer-form Creating Connection Through Conflict offering.

What is the Outcome?

The more of ourselves we can welcome, the more we can deepen intimacy with ourselves and others.

Who is This For?

This offering is for anyone who senses that conflict holds more possibility than we have been taught—whether you are navigating conflict in an intimate partnership, deepening friendships, building community, working collaboratively, or simply longing to become more skillful and alive in relationship.

You do not need to be in active conflict with anynore—nor do you need to be good at it. The group becomes a laboratory where our relational patterns can emerge naturally and offer insight, practice, healing, and new possibilities. Bring your defenses, your tenderness, the part that wants to run, the part that wants to be right, the part that wants to blame, the part that wants to be cherished, and the part that is afraid it may not belong.

This is how we re-village:
We cultivate the capacity to remain human, connected, and alive within the circles we love—with conflict being a guide to deepening and belonging.

Meet Lee Warren

Lee Warren is a somatic guide, Tantra and death educator, writer, and community builder. Her work has been shaped by more than three decades of ecovillage living, coordinating dozens of regional events, a deep commitment to place-based education, and participation in Tantric community—settings where conflict, collaboration, belonging, and repair have been part of the everyday terrain. Her approach to creative conflict draws from training and practice in NVC, Process Work, IFS, ZEGG Forum, and attachment, along with the delightful additions of embodiment, erotic ShadowPlay, and trauma-informed Tantra. She is the founder of Reclaiming Wisdom and Queen of Death, and the author of the forthcoming book Dying Together: The Art of Community Death Care.
