Beyond Conscious Dying: 9 Essential Principles for Embracing End-of-Life

Death & Dying in Community Short Course This Week

When I’m teaching the practical mysteries that is end of life preparation, I assume that we’re all healing from death denial and death illiteracy. To me that means that that for most of us the act of dying, the state of being dead, the contemplation of death, and the grieving of the dead has been kept out of sight. Out of reach.

That that also likely means is that we’ve rarely discussed death with others, we haven’t been around much death (or much conscious death), we haven’t had an opportunity to consider our own deaths and what happens after death (on the practical/physical level and to our consciousness or essence), we haven’t been actively engaged in our own contemplation about death, and we aren’t able to access much wisdom from others.

THIS IS NOT TRUE IN OTHER CULTURES.

And was not true in other times. And does not have to be true for us.

Death is an invitation to keep your heart open

If you’d like to explore death together, consider my End-of-Life Preparation Immersion Course, which is a deep dive, a mystery school of sorts.

Death & Dying in Community Short Course is happening this week through the FIC

Author: Lee Warren

Lee Warren is a death and tantra educator, somatic guide, writer, mystic, and community builder.  Lee’s work delves into the intimate relationship between our physical existence and the mysteries of life and death. She teaches how embracing the certainty of our mortality can transform fear into profound gratitude and ecstatic embodiment.

Why do we want to be more embodiment? Because that’s where divine intelligence lives. Consciousness is in every cell of our being and it’s waiting to be enlivened.

Her rich and varied experiences—from three decades of ecovillage living and the practice of sustainable agriculture to her devotional Tantric path—prime her for sharing the teachings of the life/death/life mysteries.
