How you can help if you’re remote but energetically connected to WNC:
To start, Step 0:
- Resource and regulate yourself. Get trauma informed support and tap into the larger and “incorruptible” truth of life from Julian of Norwich which states: “All shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”
Next, Step 1:
- Bring that attitude and groundedness to your beloveds here. Attune to individuals. Put their names on your altar. Let them know you’re praying (or whatever you call prayer) for them and for our region. Offer brief touch in’s and reminders of your presence. Regular touches without expectation. These reminders of your attunement, offered every.single.day.
Then, Step 2:
- Ask your beloveds how they’re doing and hold space and time for the answer. Be aware that it may not come quickly. They may not know. Continue to be resourced in the ‘all is well’ as you reach out.
Furthermore, Step 3:
- If you donate, let us know you have. It helps us to feel supported.
Additionally, Step 4:
- Get a support group going for out of town beloveds so you can support each other while you support us.
Overall, we need to regulate to stabilized people who can see the big picture. Help us do that. You all are our lifelines right now.
Thanks Conner Kees for helping model and identify these steps.
