Place-Based Living at Earthaven Ecovillage

An Overview of our Regenerative Systems

Saturday, June 26,, 3-5pm EST, Online
or
Friday, October 1, 3-5pm EST, Online

Visitors to Earthaven Ecovillage are often surprised to hear that we are not yet fully sustainable or 100% self-sufficient. This online workshop helps define the context and describe the journey of moving from a consumer culture to a land-based, place-based life.

We’ll look at the actual lived experiences of the over 26 years of village building through examining our homes, power, water, and waste systems, and especially our food and medicine. Compare and contrast the concepts of self-reliance, interdependence, permaculture, sustainability, resilience, regeneration when it comes to whole systems design.

"Lee conveys the importance of end of life planning with humor and wisdom. Together our community group was able to thoughtfully explore these decisions we tend to avoid. The sense of relief many of us felt at the end of the day was palpable. What a gift for our friends and families as we take the burden of hard decisions off their shoulders by ensuring our wishes are known ahead of time! So grateful."

"The End of Life workshop with Lee Warren helped me to organize my thoughts while also inviting me to honor my feelings and hopes for that time of life. Lee is an excellent facilitator."
